As part of a cost cutting exercise an Estate Agent is proposing to make the role of Sales Manager redundant. The jobholder has been offered the position of "Lettings Administrator". The salary is to be reduced by approx 40% and the company car will be removed. The new role will be essentially the same and the jobholder will be expected to have their own car. Fuel costs will be reimbursed.

My view is that this is in fact Constructive Dismissal.

Please advise what advice you would give the employer.
