Does anyone have a unpaid sabbatical leave policy in use in their organisation that they would be willing to share? I’m trying to write a policy from scratch and would value any examples of what other organisations use. In particular – do you refer to maternity leave, restructures during their leave, legal implications (ie; can they work for someone else during their sabbatical), timescales for re-applying etc?
