Hi everyone,

The Italian association of personnel managers has asked its members to take smoking breaks into account when determining salaries. The organisation claims that smokers take, on average, six additional breaks per day, amounting to an hour’s less work than non-smokers.

I’d be interested in your views on this – should smokers be paid less and do they really work an hour less each day because of smoking?
