We provide a comprehensive training package for new recruits to our charitable organisation. However, sometimes these staff leave shortly after their training period. As we invest a lot of money in new recruits, does anyone know whether it is ethical or legal to request that ex-employees pay back the cost of their training if they leave within certain time periods ie 3 months, 6 months etc? Has anyone got a policy which covers this – or code of practice?
