I have recently been advised that the Managing Director of 10years is to be replaced by the Sales Director (1.5 year service), however the current MD’s performance has never been questioned and he has an exemplary career record. It seems that either a personality conflict or a preference for the Sales Director (worked at the same company as the CEO in the past)a may have developed between the groups NEW CEO and the MD. What is the MD’s immedicate recourse if his employment is terminated and what can be expected in the event of failure of a compromise agreement?
