The Company is purchasing new vehicles (lorries) that have tracking systems and apart from the business benefits this will bring in terms of journey planning etc, it will provide a by-product of information that may be felt as an invasion of privacy by some employees if we determine they are off-route or not driving at required times.
There seems to be little information in respect of Data Protection for VMIS or whether we are able to use the information we hold for disciplinary purposes.
