I am currently negotiating voluntary severance terms with the organisation that I work for. In the draft agreement, they have included a clause that says if I accept the agreement, I can never go back to work there. Is this something I can challenge or is a legal standard?

FWIW- I’m not leaving under a dark cloud or anything. The opportunity has come up and I’ve decided to take it and look for another job. I’m also not of a pensionable age, so I won’t be accessing an early pension as part of this agreement.

Thanks in advance!
