2016 has thrown up some rather unpredictable events, and the role of HR as a strategic function has been critical in helping organisations to thrive in an ever shifting environment. But what is your focus for next year? I'd love to hear about your current pain points, what keeps you up at night (from an HR at work perspective that is!), challenges you'd like to overcome and initiatives you hope to get in place.
Here are some questions I have to get the ball rolling: Has Brexit impacted how you'll think about recruiting talent? Are you expecting to utilise the gig economy by creating more temporary positions? How about creating appealing reward packages for millennials? What actions might you take to improve employee engagement? How is 'HR' perceived in your organisation?
I'd love to hear any thoughts or opinions on what you think is important for HR professionals to tackle, appreciating that you might not want to give away too much info on internal strategies
Thanks in advance,
