Dr. Grossmann is an Assistant Professor of Social Psychology at Waterloo. He serves as an associate editor for Frontiers in Personality and Social Psychology and is on the editorial board of the Journal of Personality and Social Psychology (JPSP). JPSP is the flagship journal in social psychology. His current work explores the conditions that enable individuals to think and act "wisely," for instance by regulating emotions that undermine their goals and compromise their health. Dr, Grossmann’s work has appeared in the premier journals in behavioral sciences such as JPSP, Psychological Science and Perspectives on Psychological Science and has been recognized by numerous prominent awards, including the 2015 Rising Star designation from the Association for Psychological Science (APS).
