Busy Bees Benefits

Co-founder and President of Busy Bees childcare and founder of Busy Bees Benefits. Now campaigning for new forms of adult social care funding via a voucher system.

In 1984, I, alongside five teachers, opened the first Busy Bees nursery: The Rocklands in Lichfield to provide a great start in life for our own children. Busy Bees is now an international network of nurseries.
Together with the senior management team, we have developed and expanded the nursery business to become the UK, Singapore and Malaysia’s largest childcare provider and an international brand with nurseries in China, Canada and Australia.

In 1998 I developed one of the first childcare voucher schemes. Built from nothing, we helped 600,000 parents make considerable savings. We launched a new childcare voucher and employee benefits company, Busy Bees Benefits in 2010.

I am now committed to helping solve the social care crisis, using my experience in delivering successful salary sacrifice schemes to campaign for a system of adult social care vouchers.
