In any conflict, strong feelings and emotions emerge, in fact, at TCM we argue that strong feelings and emotions are the hardest to handle. They are rising from underneath and from the perception of loss that the parties experience during conflict. The emotional intelligent mediators work with strong emotions and enable the parties to describe them to the mediators and other parties, encourage openness, risk taking from the parties, and by doing so an open exchange between parties unfolds.
The Mediation & Emotional Intelligence FREE webinar is an opportunity to explore how mediators can use emotional intelligence to unlock an open dialogue between parties and secure a positive outcome. (15th May, 1pm)
It will cover three main areas
· The importance of emotion in mediation.
· We will look at how emotional intelligent mediators handle strong emotions and transform them to be instructive and constructive.
· The psychology of conflict, and we will look at the behavioural psychology theories that underpin the practice of mediation.
This webinar was specifically designed by David Liddle for Mediators, HR Managers, Professionals and Leaders who are handling change and conflict in organisations or are just interested in becoming trained workplace mediators.
