The North West Employee Engagement Group (NWEEG) gathered at Ribby Hall Conference Centre near Blackpool on 18th May for their annual conference with a new line up of expert speakers, more delegates than ever before and they launched the first NWEEG Awards Presentation Ceremony.
Over 200 Business leaders and HR professionals heard from employee engagement specialists, learned from best practice case studies and took part in interactive experiences during the day, with the sole purpose of supporting them to help make their organisations better places to work.
Before the Conference the NWEEG Ambassadors were interviewed for a feature in the July edition of Lancashire Business View magazine and that set the scene for the rest of the day by providing the know-how and evidence to show that employee engagement can drive a successful business strategy.
CEO of NWEEG, Steve Smith commented: “Delegate feedback has been amazing following the Conference and we’re really pleased that everyone had a great time, learning and sharing together whilst having lots of fun. There were many light bulb moments for so many people and that is fantastic to hear. We can make a huge difference.”
The NWEEG Conference 2017 was also the setting for the inaugural NWEEG Awards, honouring the achievements of great employees across the region that are making a difference to their organisations and celebrating the unsung heroes of the North West’s best places to work.
