Haven’t you ever considered your employee as "your customer"?
Haven't you ever dealt with your employee from the perspective of "My Customer"?
Each and every responsible has a goal and it is to get the most out of his/her employee by reaching the performance s/he has planned for. With the consideration of "your employee is your internal customer", the responsible will find a lot of work to do.
In terms of customer approach; your customer pays money when you offers him/her the product/service s/he, typically, wants. So, to make your employee Pay the Performance you want, you have to offer him/her the products and services s/he wants.
What are the products /services my employee needs from me?
One of these products is "Motivation", it is considered to be one of the critical and most important needs your employee looks for from you.
When you offer your external customer a product or a service you have to ask him/her first about his/her needs…the same is here with motivation. The motivation you offer has be matched with your employee' needs.
Haven’t you ever asked your employee about his/her needs of motivation? How does your employee want the motivation to be like?
Complete this sentence; my employee wants to be motivated in these ways: –
(1)…..………
(2)…….…….
(3)………..…
If you are able to motivate your employee in the right way, s/he will be able to pay the performance you want and s/he will be loyal to your motivation and before thinking about quitting and leaving your organization to find a new job, s/he will think heavily, like a headache, about the way you offer motivation to him/her because you offer this product/service in the best way, but if you can't offer it in the way s/he wants, it will be a reason for quitting and leaving your organization
These types of products/services you offer to your employee leads to:-
- High rate of retention
- Zero turnover rate
High salaries play a partial role in retention but alone they can't save the day only, because your employee can find high salaries elsewhere but to find a responsible serves him/her as s/he wants like you, it is not available
If you want reach high records of performance with your employees, keep on answering these following:
- Why my employee does work for me?
- What are the products and services my Employee needs from me?
- Do I match my Employee needs in the best way?
Employee Based Management is based on many points one of them is to reconsider your Employee in more effective way.
