Health Savings Account (HSA) definition

Health savings accounts (HSA) are medical savings accounts available to US taxpayers who are enrolled in a high-deductible health plan (HDHP). The account offers tax relief as all funds contributed to the account are not subject to income tax. One of the main advantages over flexible spending accounts (FSA) is that funds can be rolled over from year to year.
