There are a number of employees who have deliberately removed or covered the company logo from their id badges and left the public sector logo. 

similary these few employees consistently bemoan the company they work for, they have been given various platforms and ways to discuss and vent any issues but there is no substance other than their own politics that they do not want to work for the private company but they do like their job and terms and conditions and wish to keep doing their job. 

defacing their id is the only real material thing they have done other than attitude so I have two questions:


1 Does defacing company logo classed as gross misconduct? 

2 If they like the job, terms and conditions but want to run the company down they work for, could this be ultimately gross misconduct once we have exhausted all other means of engagement and carried out a full investigation?
